This game is inspired by ancient Indian artwork such as Mysore paintings, Gopuram temple carvings and Madhubani paintings. We studied various such art pieces and created artwork for this game for an ancient Indian theme and historical feel. Legends say that King Salwa attacked from the sky, thus all enemies are drawn as Vimanas, that Salwa used to use to travel around.



The story of this game comes from a small chapter in Mahabharata. When Krishna had gone for a ceremony (Pandavas Rajya-Abhisheka), King Salwa decided to use the absence of Krishna as an opportunity to destroy his city Dwarka. Krishna had a hint that Salwa, Shishupals friend, would definitely cause a havoc. Thus he rushed back, but on his return he found his city depleted of beauty. Seeing Dwarka damaged, he promised himself to destroy his enemies.
